INTERIOR DESIGN

Narrapumalap, a grand family homestead at Wickliffe Victoria, was originally built during the 1860s but fell into disrepair after the second world war.

Current owner, Kevin McIntyre, has adopted the challenge of totally restoring the building and replacing features that have been lost or ruined over the years.

Gordan Lanman has assisted Kevin with the refurbishment and painstakingly created these fitted mahogany bookcases with matching fire surround; returning the drawing room of Narrapumalap to its original elegance.

Whether your needs are to ensure the integrity of a particular era or to add an original feature in a new building, Gordon will work with you and your architect or designer to ensure your piece is consistent with the overall theme.

CREATING AN HEIRLOOM

This rocking horse, commissioned as a very special Christmas gift for a 3 year old, will be passed on from generation to generation.

Made from reclaimed messmate, every component was chosen for quality, authenticity and longevity; the leather bridle and saddle sourced from a local saddler; the horsehair mane and tail created from show horse wigs; the sparkling glass eyes supplied by a taxidermist.

The 'surprise' was specially delivered to 'under the tree' on
Christmas Eve

ARCHITECTURAL TURNING

Gordon sympathetically reproduces pieces to remain consistent with the original timbers, designs and features used.

Gordon's architectural turning is in high demand throughout the 'Western District' of Victoria; an area renowned for it's heritage and classified properties.
